How SlidePulse Works
Getting started is instant. As a presenter, simply log in (or sign up) and click "Create New". Give your presentation session a name (e.g., "Weekly Team Sync", "Product Feedback").
Choose the type of interaction you want to start with:
- Q&A: Collect questions from your audience.
- Poll: Create a multiple-choice question for live voting.
- Vote: Gather quick up/down votes on ideas or options.
- Discussion: Set up topics for threaded conversations (requires audience login).
SlidePulse immediately generates a unique, shareable link and a QR code for your audience to join. You'll find these in your Presenter View.
Your audience joins instantly by scanning the QR code or clicking the link you shared. No app downloads or account sign-ups are needed for Q&A, Polls, or Votes, ensuring zero friction.
Using their own device (phone, tablet, laptop), they can:
- Submit Questions: Ask questions anonymously or with their name (if configured).
- Upvote Questions: See questions from others and upvote the ones they find most relevant.
- Vote in Polls: Select an option in active multiple-choice polls.
- Cast Votes: Submit up or down votes on a single item.
- Participate in Discussions: View topics, send messages, and react with emojis (requires login).
All interactions happen in real-time, keeping the audience engaged throughout your presentation.
As the presenter, you have full control via the Presenter View:
- See Live Results: Watch poll results update instantly as votes come in. See questions appear and get upvoted in real-time. Monitor live vote counts.
- Moderate Q&A: View incoming questions sorted by upvotes or time. Mark questions as answered to clear the queue, or delete inappropriate submissions.
- Manage Polls: Activate/deactivate polls, add/edit options, and choose whether to show results to the audience on the Display View.
- Manage Votes: Activate/deactivate vote sessions and see live up/down vote counts.
- Manage Discussions: Activate/deactivate the session, add/edit/delete topics, and view/delete messages.
Optionally, use the separate Display View link on a projector or shared screen to show live poll results, sorted questions, vote counts, or active discussion topics to the entire audience.
This real-time feedback loop allows you to adapt your presentation and address audience needs on the fly.
